I'm just getting a little tired of seeing some "artists" who tend to take a picture of themselves or friends or watever, add some photoshop effect on it and some smudge and says "hey look i totally painted this!"

But nooo that's not what annoy me, what's annoy me is the comments of people
"wow amazing! looks like a picture!"
"wow your skills impress me!"

ARE YOU FUCKING BLIND??

Yeah maybe i should do that too, take some pictures, some photoshop effects, pretend i painted it, even make a fake tutorial on how to do that with some random strokes over the picture on another layer, some smudges for the hair, then add more and more strokes using colors from the original photo, smudge the original photo a lot, merge the fake drawings and original photo until it LOOKS LIKE i painted it all by myself! (amazing skills!!)

Of course i'm far from being the first one to say something about that and the unlucky one who did say something met the blind rabid fanboys and girls who fav every photoshop effect thoses people does (for some weird unknown reason..) that's why i'm not gonna say any names.

Oh yeah there are also thoses who take a photo, place a poser character in the same pose with kinda the same shape, then "paint" the photo over it and pretend they did without a photo, all with "skills".

And next to thoses you see "basic" poser renders you see everywhere....... (with fake eyes, fake shiny clothes looks so fake it's a wonder they manage to make photorealistic ones... oh wait, they dont "really" do.. )

let me show you something photo realistic, something impressive that i really wish i could do (because i know i can do the lame stuff i just told you, and if i do, it will really be to prove my point, i would not pretend i painted it, thought i'd be curious to see how many people fall for it....)

actually it's after seeing this that i wanted to work much more on coralie, but i'm still faaaar away from this.

now stop shining the light on fake stuff and faving them so much, there are other artists out there who deserve your attention more.
